We want to help when life gets difficult.
Busy Bee Wash Co. operates on a simple idea: sometimes people need help caring for their homes because life has made it difficult or impossible for them to do it themselves.
Age, illness, injury, or an unexpected family crisis can suddenly change a person's ability to handle the routine responsibilities of homeownership. A homeowner may be recovering from a serious injury. An elderly person may no longer be able to safely operate a pressure washer or climb a ladder. A parent may be spending their days caring for a seriously ill or injured child. A family may be dealing with circumstances that have completely changed their priorities.
In situations like these, maintaining the outside of a home can become one more burden on an already overwhelming list.
That's where Busy Bee comes in.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide professional exterior home cleaning at no cost to people who are unable to safely or reasonably maintain their homes because of significant life circumstances.
We aren't primarily looking for people who simply cannot afford to hire a pressure washing company. We are looking for people whose circumstances have made caring for their home difficult or impossible.
Financial hardship may be part of someone's story, but please note that it is not the defining requirement of our mission.
We believe that a person shouldn't have to be financially destitute to deserve a helping hand. Sometimes what a family needs most isn't money—it is someone willing to take one responsibility off their shoulders.
Who We Help
Busy Bee is looking for applicants and nominees whose ability to care for their home's exterior has been significantly affected by circumstances such as (but not limited to):
Age-related limitations that make exterior home maintenance unsafe or physically difficult
Serious illness or medical treatment that prevents someone from maintaining their property
Unexpected injuries or disabilities that temporarily or permanently limit someone's ability to perform physical work
Caregiving responsibilities, particularly when someone is caring for a seriously ill or injured family member
A child's serious illness or injury that has placed extraordinary demands on a family
Other unexpected and significant life circumstances that have made normal home maintenance unreasonable or impossible
We want to hear about the circumstances, not simply a person's income.
You do not need to be facing financial hardship to apply. You do not need to consider yourself "in need." And you do not need to feel ashamed about asking for help.
Sometimes life simply happens.
Services We Provide
When Busy Bee is able to help, we provide professional exterior cleaning services at no cost to the selected homeowner.
Our services can include the exterior areas of a home such as:
House Washing
Cleaning exterior siding and other appropriate home surfaces to remove dirt, algae, mold, mildew, and buildup.
Driveway & Concrete Cleaning
Pressure washing driveways, sidewalks, walkways, patios, and other residential concrete surfaces.
Other Exterior Surfaces
Depending on the property and the circumstances, we may be able to clean additional exterior areas that can be safely serviced with our equipment and methods.
Our goal isn't simply to make a house look better; it's to take a physical responsibility off someone's plate.
We want the person we are helping to be able to look at their home and know that, for at least one day, they don't have to worry about cleaning it.
How Our Assistance Works
Anyone can nominate someone for assistance, including the homeowner themselves.
After receiving a request, we review the circumstances described and determine whether they fit within our mission. We consider the individual's or family's situation, their ability to safely maintain the property themselves, the type of assistance needed, and our ability to provide that assistance.
Because our resources are limited, we cannot guarantee that every applicant will be selected.
We also reserve the right to determine which services can safely and reasonably be provided at each property.
If a request is approved, Busy Bee coordinates with the homeowner to schedule the work. Our team then arrives, completes the approved exterior cleaning, and leaves the homeowner with one less responsibility to carry.
Please note that the homeowner MUST have full knowledge of our services and must agree to accept our assistance.
